Homerun #756 sold for 752K and #755 sold for 182K exceeding some expert’s estimations.
Here is the news news article
I decided to research what hank aaron’s balls were selling at. The 714 homerun ball was never sold because aaron kept it. His #755 homerun though sold for 650,000 after 8 years. So it appears after inflation adjustement, barry’s record breaking homerun and aaron’s last career homerun ball, both have the same net worth.

“I decided to research what hank aaron’s balls were selling at.” – hehe, had to poke fun at that one. Did you see what Marc Ecko is doing with the Barry Bonds record breaking ball he paid $750K for ??
Pretty ingenious publicity stunt considering Marc Ecko has had over 3 Million hits to his website already.

LOL I didn’t even realize how I said it. Thanks for the tipoff about that site, I wasn’t even aware of it. That is a pretty sleazy way to viral market IMO.
Of course I just voted now to bestow it.

I think it’s a disgrace that cooperstown is now talking about how to put an asterisk on the ball (since it was voted in by the visitors). Cooperstown is slime!

I totally agree. I have much dislike for cooperstown and the people running the hall of fame. Most of the people who vote for inducting people in the HOF are a bunch of morons.

Bonds says he is going to boycott the hall of fame if the marked ball goes in.
