Earlier in the game a fan approached Barry Barry, but luckily not with harmful intentions.

In the beginning of the game Barry hit a single RBI. The giants had become down 3-2 after a home run from the D-backs.

In the 7th inning Barry Bonds gets to a full count. And with only Bonds ability to forget everything that has happened before him, launches his home run deep into right field. This tied up the game to 3-3.

Giants went into extra innings as a result of the tie, but lost when Arizona hit a home run and the Giants didn’t produce in the bottom of the inning to stay alive.

I think the incident with the fan is a wakeup call for more security. I know MLB has it’s own security for Bonds on the road, but the Giants use their own security at home. They need to do make sure something like this doesn’t happen again.
