It was a magical game last night. Giants won 9 to 4. Mets are the team to beat in the national league. Things were competitive until in the 5th inning when the 2nd baseman made an error. This appeared to get perez angry and his pitching suffered. It allowed bengie molina to get a homerun in the beginning of the inning and and to end the inning with a homerun. 9 runs in total were scored. Only 3rd time in SF giants history were there two home runs in one inning.

Its hard to say if the Giants would have won had the mets not allowed those 2 errors which were free gifts and which effected the pitcher and thus his pitching. Last year Giants did well in giants stadium against the mets. Mets didn’t give up though they scored a couple more runs later on. Mets are a highly confident well built team so you can never have too many runs.

No doubt Giants are working well together in their hitting then they did in the beginning of the season. The pitching has done great since the beginning and just as I expected once the hitting got in order they would be winning a lot of their ball games. Lets hope the Giants can win the series against the mets. It would set the tone for the Giants confidence for the upcoming days if they do.
