Giants won 2 straight games against the yankees to finish the series 2 to 1. This comes after losing 8 games in a row.

I think what made the difference in the last two games compared to the previous 8, especially this sunday, is the Giants have been playing good small ball with their hitting. On saturday their pitching was good enough to keep the game close enough for the Giants to finally win in the 13th inning with a hit.

In today’s game they batted well and played a lot of small ball with singles, stolen bases, and getting runners in that were in scoring position.

Giants pitching is so good that if they play more of this good solid small ball like they did today this could be the sign of a long winning streak to come. Let’s hope for the best.
