Giants came so close to winning the game last night, but this is not horse shoes where almost doesn’t count. Houston Astros were leading 3-0 until the 5th when the Giants hit their way to tie the game up. The next inning they took the lead. After that the Astros took the lead and won the game with a walk off home run in the bottom of the 10th.

The Giants were close to winning this game because they had 2 different times where they had double plays with runners on 2 bases that killed the inning. If they had scored some more runs during that time instead of hitting into inning killing double plays or pitched better to maintain their 2 run lead the Giants would have won.
