Giants won the only game of their final series against the Oakland Athletics in McCafee ballpark. Randy winn got 3 basehits and extended it to a 19 game hitting streak. It’s the longest hitting streak by a giant since 1993. Only reason why Bonds never got a high hitting streak is he gets walked too much and that upsets a hitters “groove”.

This is a great opportunity for Winn to “shine” again like he did 2 years ago when he first came onto the Giants team in the last half of the season batting well over 300 while on the team. He got signed to a large 4 year contract as a result but last year and the beginning of this year was below expectations. Way to go Randy Winn, we’re rooting for you!

The next time the Giant’s play the A’s will be in June at San Francisco’s AT&T Ballpark.
