Another dissapointing loss for the giants. 2 to 1 against the Houston Astros at minute Maid park today. The Giants manager Bruce Bochy had confidence in the kid Noah Lowry to keep him until the final out in the 8th inning even after walking someone and his 121st pitch. I thought it was a good move. Thats how you get a young pitcher some confidence and plus he was doing so good it was worth the gamble.

Bruce Bochy seems to take more gambles then Felipe Alou did. Don’t really care for his agressive stealing and hit n running which causes a lot of unnecessary outs.

The giants lately (other then newcomer Fred Lewis who has been on fire the last few days and randy winn) have not been getting those clutch hits when they really need them. If it wasn’t for Lewis pretty much doing it solo yesterday they wouldn’t have had all those runs to stay competitive on yesterdays close loss.

I certainly hope this isn’t going to become the beginning of a series of games like in the beginning of the season where the pitching was beautiful from the starters, but the lacking offense cost them multiple games.

Hi Jonas. You probably should purchase advertising here if you want to advertise your site instead of in my comments. ;)
